OUR CLOSING CHAPTER
2026–2028
The Bloomfield Family Foundation Board has adopted a new strategic direction: we intend to distribute the Foundation’s remaining assets over the years 2026-2028. We have taken this decision out of our conviction that the resources entrusted to us belong in the capable, creative hands of the communities we serve. We look forward to sharing more information about our methods and process.
Founded in 2000 by Margery Bloomfield and her children, the Foundation has aimed to strengthen communities by supporting organizations driving meaningful change in the fields of education, arts and humanities, medical research and public health. We carry Marge’s vision with us in this final phase and believe she would be deeply gratified by the partnerships built, the communities supported and the projects enriched.
We regret that the Foundation cannot accept any letters of inquiry (LOIs) while new grant programs are in development.
